Lenders' Handbook

This CML Lenders' Handbook section is currently undergoing development. We will be launching a  new online tool in April 2010.

The Lenders' Handbook provides comprehensive instructions for conveyancers acting on behalf of lenders in residential conveyancing transactions.

The Lenders' Handbook is divided into two parts. Part 1 sets out the main instructions. Part 2 details each lender's specific requirements. There is a Lenders' Handbook for each legal jurisdiction in the UK. Select the region you require below to view the relevant Part 1 and corresponding Part 2’s -

For more information on the Lenders' Handbook and the CML Disclosure of Incentives Form, please view our FAQs section. If you are a conveyancer and you have a query on any of the requirements in the Lenders' Handbook, you must raise your query with your instructing lender and NOT the CML.
